Today hubby and I took our son to an Easter Egg Hunt at Eckhart Park. It was the first year we were able to do this since Gabe is getting older to understand a little more about the holidays. Wow!! Was it packed with kids and adults. We had no idea it was a race and to say the least I think the adults were a little crazier than the kids!
It was a little unorganized; they had one person talking through a megaphone (who we could barely understand with all of the people talking around us). So when it was time to line up on the sidewalk to start the race some of the adults already started picking up eggs for their kids! Really??
Anywho, aside from the craziness Gabe was still able to get a couple eggs (thanks to the boy who came up to him and wanted to trade eggs for candy!) and lots of candy that was scattered all over the ground!
