Branding Your Packaging

There comes a point in your photography business where you need to think about what kind of packaging you want to present your products to your clients. Whether you only give out discs or prints!

Your packaging should represent your style; my style is simple and more natural. Of course I still had no clue where to start when it came to figuring out exactly what I wanted for packaging. After browsing Pinterest for a couple hours I finally figured out what I was looking for. The style that I chose I know that I can always add to it if I want some elegance eventually. So for the moment lets think about getting started and not worry about breaking the bank!

I found a couple DIY templates on Pinterest. The larger envelope is a CD case
for my clients' discs, which is made with Kraft paper from Staples. I then used jute string to tie a gift style bow and also attach a price tag including a "Thank you for your business" note. I purchased the stamp off of Etsy from 2Impress. The smaller envelope is for my business cards tied off with a jute string bow.

The crinkle cut filler is from Paper Mart, which you can buy in bulk for super cheap!

Last, but not least, I include my print release as well as a sheet including printing recommendations for clients to have their photos printed. I do have it stated on the print release that clients are not allowed to print photos off at Wal Mart or other drug store kiosks. The recommendations guide them in other directions in order to get the quality that they paid for in the first place. :)
